Photinia Fraseri Red Robin is a popular plant for hedging due to its dense foliage, bright red new growth, a large, dense, evergreen shrub with glossy green and purple-red foliage.
Photinia makes an excellent specimen on its own but is most often planted as a hedge. It is fast growing but for best results, it should be clipped back every year to produce a nice bushy habit. It will grow in all free draining soils, avoid extreme wind and coastal exposure.
